Shopping on and on

November 29, 2016

The Thanksgiving sight of people fighting for best deals marks the start of a seasonal shopping frenzy. As  more and more Americans choose to shop over the internet, these images may slowly fade away.

This Thanksgiving weekend, three times as many people than last year decided to rather order items online, then head to the stores. Retailors prapired for the migration of shoppers and have been eagerly waiting for the busy traffic. And it came. All major American traders reported the best results in online sales ever. Consumers are more comfortable with the buy button on the screen, so smartphones and tablets are increasingly becoming the go to shopping method.

National Retail Federation expects the end of the year sales to finally pick up after the Great Recession. No surprise companies do not want to get off the fresh e-commerce wave. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, what will they come next, maybe Noel shopping discount that lasts till next Christmas?
