As a global smartphone sales growth is slowing down, the industry leaders got an unusual adversary. Candybar and flip phones, in the past years synonymous for the parsimonious and criminals, are regaining popularity.

Less than a decade has passed since iPhone changed the concept of handsets. But growing privacy concerns and smartphone fatigue have made many people rethink their gadget obsession. Evermore users are looking to unplug and refuse to be constantly pestered with apps and smart advertising.

The dumb relics that easily slip into pockets, go forever without charging and no proper thief cares about are slowly finding their way back into our lives.
