Untouched Memories

December 14, 2015

Ever pondered upon how many items a person touches every day? From putting the clothes on to checking the phone, tiny routine tasks one often does without even thinking about. Paula Zuccotti, an artist from London, has the answer.

A project titled Every Thing We Touch documents what people from around the world hold in a 24-hour period. The participants were asked to keep all the tiny and insignificant objects they touched during the day and the artist photographed them in chronological order.

In his poem Keats once wrote, Touch has a memory. Since Paula found out we daily come in contact with around 140 objects, how many memories remain untouched each day.
