Avoiding crowds

July 30, 2015

Who likes crowded stores and gyms? If you are among those trying to avoid long lines while shopping or running errands, Google has a new solution up its sleeve.

Based on the location tracking data, the company is checking how busy millions of places around the world are. Whenever the customers with the smartphone hit the store, Google collects the data and converts it to show traffic congestion on its road maps. When a business page is googled, the feature provides hourly popularity on a given day and tells us when is the best time to go to avoid crowds.

It is always a good idea to have a feature saving us time in our busy days, but maybe now we need another one to telling us which line is the fastest.
