Phone snooping

March 4, 2014

Forget about government trying to snoop on your phone, the real culprit may be someone much closer to you.

Recent studies show the main snoopers may be your spouse, friend or a family member.  More than a third of people admit to invade the privacy of their loved ones. We all think about parents checking on their teens, but it looks that is not the case. Three fifths of men in the relationships are checking the phones of their partners for signs of infidelity. It seems women are more trustful, with only a third doing the same.

So, how to protect your privacy? Some do not share their passcode with anyone, others take their mobiles with them wherever they go, but the best advice is to listen to wise words of the Scottish author who once said To be trusted is a greater compliment than being loved.
