Consumers worldwide spend $2,500 trillion, yes trillion annually on clothes, textile, shoes and luxury goods. If you think this number cannot be grasped, try the following incomprehensible fashion facts.

Manhhattanites, known for their small flats are at $362 (£228) per month the biggest fashion spenders in the US. Where do they store all those things? It is all the same story on the other side of the Atlantic. Britons, with the smallest homes in Europe, hold £30 billion ($46.7 billion) worth of unworn clothes in their closets. They can teach us something about living large in small homes.
