Heel vertigo

July 23, 2012

The shortest the women the highest the heels, showed survey of women from five European countries. Half of participants from Denmark, France, Germany, Spain and UK admitted to be prepared to bear the pain comparable with toothache just to look good.

British women are among the shortest in Europe and wear the highest heels, on average 3.3-inches (8 cm). A quarter of them admitted to wear shoes with above 4-inches (10 cm) and the boldest 3% staggering 6-inch (15 cm) heels. On the other hand, German women being among the tallest in Europe wear shoes with only 2.7-inch (6 cm) heels.

Why are women prepared to go at such length to appear taller? Research has suggested a tall woman is considered more confident, independent and even more intelligent than their shorter peers.
