The Vogue Health Pact

What started in Spain, followed by Israel, is now entering mainstream. The editors of 19 Vogue magazines worldwide are raising their voices for healthier fashion industry in their June issues.

With the so called Health Pact Vogue is aiming at eating disorders and the use of underage models. From now on they will not use models under the age of 16 or those believed to have an eating disorder. This decision, coming from the most influential fashion magazine in the world, is a clear sign of fashion shift. The pact concludes “we will be ambassadors for the message of healthy body image”.
