Health under the mistletoe

November 30, 2011

With festive seasons approaching, it is important to know, that standing under the mistletoe may also improve your health. Kissing involves more than 35 facial muscles and proves to be quite a workout. Touching somebody else’s lips for a minute burns 26 calories, while making out for an hour consumes half of the daily energy intake for women. Men should kiss more to lose weight.

Exchanging body fluids, while indulging in French kissing, boost our immune system. Kissing releases same endorphins as intense exercise does. It acts as a powerful antidepressant, relaxing body and reducing stress. On top of all that, it prevents crating wrinkles. What more could you wish for the holidays?
