Pay parity in Slovenia 2010

Statistical office has revealed the latest data on pay parity in Slovenia. Average monthly gross earnings of women were 55 € lower, or 96.5% those of men.

The highest pay gap was recorded in health, social services and financial sector, where women earned staggering 28% less than men. On the brighter side are the payments in public administration with only 2% pay gap. However, there is always room for improvement, especially taken into account the education gap.
